The YBW series prefabricated substations (commonly referred to as "European-type substations") integrate high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage switchgear into a compact, complete distribution unit. They are widely applicable in various settings—including urban high-rise buildings, urban and rural constructions, residential communities, high-tech development zones, industrial parks, mining and oilfield sites, and temporary construction power supply systems—where they serve to receive and distribute electrical energy within the power distribution network.

    The YBW series prefabricated substations (commonly referred to as "European-type substations") integrate high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage switchgear into a compact, complete distribution unit. They are widely applicable in various settings—including urban high-rise buildings, urban and rural constructions, residential communities, high-tech development zones, industrial parks, mining and oilfield sites, and temporary construction power supply systems—where they serve to receive and distribute electrical energy within the power distribution network.
    This product features a highly integrated design, compact size, tight structural arrangement, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, aesthetically pleasing appearance, low noise levels, safe and reliable operation, and mobility. Its footprint is only 1/10 to 1/5 of that of conventional civil-engineered substations, and its manufacturing cycle is just 1/10 of the time required for traditional substations. Moreover, its manufacturing cost is half that of conventional substations, significantly reducing construction expenses. At the same time, this series of products is easy to install, provides rapid power supply, and is simple to maintain. In particular, it can be located close to load centers, making it crucial for improving power quality, reducing power losses, enhancing power supply reliability, and facilitating the upgrading of distribution networks. In distribution systems, it can be used in ring network distribution systems as well as in dual-power or terminal distribution systems. It is currently the preferred new-generation integrated equipment for both the construction and renovation of urban and rural substations.

    Altitude not exceeding 2,000 meters;

    Structural features

    The base frame of the enclosure is fabricated from structural steel and undergoes special anti-corrosion treatment. The specifications of the structural steel are selected based on the size of the enclosure and the capacity of the transformer. Users can choose between recessed-base or oil-tank-type bases. Inside the enclosure, metal steel plates divide the space into high-voltage switchgear room, transformer room, and low-voltage switchgear room. Each compartment is strictly isolated from the others. The structural layout can be either "character 'pin'"-shaped or "character 'mu'"-shaped (see Figure 2), and the enclosures come in both internally operated and externally operated versions. The entire enclosure is available in two configurations: "single-transformer configuration" and "dual-transformer configuration." High-voltage switchgear can be configured for either "terminal-type" power supply or "ring-network type" power supply. The primary wiring can be either "cable-type" or "busbar-type." The secondary metering system can be either built-in or externally mounted. Each compartment is equipped with lighting fixtures, fitted with interlocking switches, and provided with forced ventilation systems.     The bottom sides of the enclosure are equipped with push-pull lifting devices, facilitating easy lifting, transportation, and installation. The perimeter of the base frame is fitted with universal grounding terminals, which users can select at will.

    High- and low-voltage switchgear rooms can adopt either a standard structural design or a panel-mounted or frame-mounted design. The former offers greater system integration, while the latter features a compact and space-efficient overall machine size.

    Transformers can be either oil-immersed or dry-type. The former are larger in size and cheaper in price; the latter are smaller, more reliable, and do not pose a risk of combustion or explosion, making them suitable for use in a variety of environments.
